🌸 Celebration of Life Obituary Elder T. Jamillah Creal 🌸
Elder Jamillah T. Creal, born June 4, 1972, in Tampa, Florida, was a devoted servant of
God whose life radiated faith, compassion, and unwavering love for Christ. Raised by
her beloved grandmother, Mamie Scantling, Jamillah was grounded in prayer, holiness,
and obedience, walking faithfully in God’s purpose.
She served diligently in ministry at Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church,
Ambassadors of Christ Temple of Prayer, Under the Blood House of Prayer, and Lift
One Voice Entirely Ministries. Ordained as an Evangelist in 2022 and elevated to Elder
in 2024 at L.O.V.E.M., Jamillah labored passionately in evangelism, outreach, and
teaching, touching countless lives with God’s Word.
A graduate of Tampa Bay Technical High School, Class of 1991, Jamillah devoted her
career to childcare, nurturing children with gentleness and love. She furthered her
spiritual education at Golden Gates Chaplain International Ministries, earning an
Associate Degree in Theology in 2024. Her life was a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love
and service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Edwards, Patrick Allen Creal, and
Jennifer D. Scantling-Creal; her brother, Roy J. Edwards; and her treasured
grandmother, Mamie Scantling.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Johnny Buster, her loving siblings: Sister Royale
Edwards-Jones (Brother-in-Love Levi Jones Jr.), Brother Garrick Barron, Sister
Shannon Serrano, Sister Valeria Myers, Sister Novik Myers, Brother Kevin Myers,
Brother Patrice Kennedy, Brother Tyrone Creal, Sister Dominique Magwood, Sister
Shanice Flaskamp, Brother Shawn Collins, and Sister Shawntae Creal; along with a
host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, along with a host of family, spiritual
family, and countless friends whose lives were forever transformed by her love, faith,
and generosity.
