Mr. James Thomas Gallmon Jr. was born on October 18, 1955, and was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. He passed away on January 10, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas Gallmon Sr. and Mamie Hood Gallmon; his brothers, Felix Gallmon and Steve Gallmon; and his sister, Vanessa Gallmon.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Martell Hood SmithLucinda HoodTheresa Gallmon, and Terry Williams (Clarence).

He also leaves his children: James T. Peacock (Jasmine)Catherine GallmonTerrance GallmonJamar GallmonRobert PeacockJamal Peacock, and Donnie Lattimore; his niece Monique Hughes (Cornelius); a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I did not know him however I know some of his children. And by knowing them, I could tell he was a great father because of the love they have for himIt’s always hard saying goodbye. We never feel like we have enough time with our loved ones.
