Gloria Faith Lisbon was a loving and caring woman whose heart overflowed with compassion for others. She had a beautiful gift for writing songs and a voice that could touch the soul. Music was one of the many ways she expressed her spirit and shared her love with the world.
Born into a large and close-knit family, Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John Lisbon Sr. and Christine Lisbon, and by her siblings Daniel Lisbon, John Jr. Lisbon, and Jessie Lisbon. Though they have gone on before her, their memories remain forever cherished within the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
Gloria’s life was enriched by her surviving siblings — Sylvia Lisbon, Terry Lisbon, Daisy Thomas, Vanessa Lisbon, and Casey Lisbon — each of whom shared a special bond with her filled with laughter, memories, and unwavering love.
She was the proud and devoted mother of Leverl “Dontae” Lisbon (Lakourtney), Kimberly Lisbon, Ashley Lisbon, Carlos Lisbon, Tyreece Lisbon, Jaheim Osbey, Shania Osbey, Corey Osbey, and Sharyiah Lisbon. Her children were her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into loving and supporting them through every chapter of life.
Gloria’s life was a true testimony of faith, perseverance, and grace. She touched many lives, planting seeds of love and encouragement wherever she went. Even through her own struggles, she continued to uplift others. Her journey of renewal was nothing short of inspiring — Gloria celebrated two years of being drug-free, successfully graduated from her rehabilitation program, and began taking steps toward a new beginning. She had even planned to be baptized in October, a reflection of her growing faith and commitment to God.
To know Gloria was to know strength, faith, and compassion. She had a spirit that shined bright, a voice that carried hope, and a heart that loved deeply. Though she faced challenges, she never lost her belief that God would see her through — and He did.
She leaves behind her loving family — a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends — who will forever cherish her memory. Her children and siblings take comfort in knowing that her struggles are over, and her soul is at peace.
Today, we honor and celebrate the life of Gloria Faith Lisbon — a woman of strength, faith, and love. We, her children, are so proud of the fight our mother showed, and now, we will fight for her legacy.
