“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
With broken hearts and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of Emillio Juan Quiñones, affectionately known to so many as Momo, Wop, and Hardbody. Born on April 23, 2003, in Tampa, Florida, Emillio was just 23 years old, but in that short time he filled countless lives with laughter, loyalty, ambition, and love.
Emillio was truly one of a kind. Though quiet at times, when he opened up, his hilarious personality could light up any room. His laugh was unforgettable—when something was funny to him, he laughed with his whole heart, and everyone around him couldn’t help but laugh too.
Anyone who met Emillio could tell you he was undeniably handsome. His smile, his confidence, and his natural charm drew people in everywhere he went. He was a true ladies’ man, and he wore that title with a grin. But as striking as he was on the outside, those who knew him best understood that he was even more beautiful on the inside. Beneath his cool demeanor was a loyal heart, a generous spirit, and someone who loved deeply and protected the people he cared about.
He had many passions, from video games and Marvel movies to football and basketball. He also loved writing music and the excitement of analyzing statistics and placing bets. Numbers came naturally to him. With an incredible mathematical mind, he could calculate odds and statistics with ease. That talent showed early, as he graduated high school with an impressive 4.2 GPA. Driven and determined, he was always looking for ways to make money. Those who knew him understood that his work as a bookie reflected both his confidence with numbers and his entrepreneurial spirit.
If there was one team that had Emillio’s heart, it was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Win or lose, he proudly stood behind the Black and Gold. He was one of their biggest fans and never missed an opportunity to talk football. His admiration for Steelers legends like Troy Polamalu, Ben Roethlisberger (“Big Ben”), and T.J. Watt was unmatched. Sundays during football season simply won’t be the same without him cheering on his team.
Music was another constant in Emillio’s life. His playlist reflected every side of him—from “Turtle Race” by Rod Wave to “I Cried” by NoCap, “Can’t Live Without You” by Charlie Wilson, “Just in Case” by Jaheim, and “Your Body’s Callin’” by R. Kelly. Each song carried a memory and a feeling that those who loved him will forever associate with his presence.
Above all, Emillio cherished the people closest to him. He loved spending time with his friends, his girlfriend, and his family, but the place that brought him the greatest sense of peace was beside his mom. Their bond was something special—a love and comfort that words can hardly describe. No matter what was happening in life, being with his mother gave him a sense of calm that only she could provide.
Emillio leaves behind a family who loved him beyond measure, including his devoted mother, Crystal Morris; his father, Bryan Kendrick; his siblings Elijah and Elias Quinones, Anila Johnson, Armoni and Heaven Kendrick, Javier, Carlizyani, Ariel Rey Quinones, his great-grandparents, Ida Maria Rodriguez-Cesario and Edwin Cesario; his grandmother, Janice Kendrick, his great aunts Nelida and Minerva Dejesus his aunts Brenda Blanco; Ida Dejesus; Barbara Pino; Vanessa Mercado; Rebecca Pino; Adrianne Sanders; his great uncle Daniel Dejesus; his uncles Nicholas Gavillan; Eric G. Rodriguez; David Gonzales; over 100 cousins; a very close confidante, Shakiyah Bryant; his godbrother, Azhon Cannonier; his godsisters, Kelina Abochi and Ariana Sanders; countless relatives, lifelong friends, and all whose lives were forever changed by knowing him. Though our hearts are shattered by his passing, we will remember his laugh, his brilliant mind, his determination, his loyalty, his unmistakable charm, and the love he gave so freely.
Though his life ended far too soon, his memory will never fade. His voice, his smile, his laughter, and the love he shared will continue to live on in every heart he touched.
Forever loved. Forever missed. #Forever23 Forever our Millio, our Momo, our Wop, our Angel.

My condolences to his entire family. My name is RJ. I’m from sulfur springs as well. Me and Emilio both went to Tampa Bay tech. We rode the same bus him and Sergio two people in my life that i can honestly say had a true impact as a friend. It’s just so sad to see both of them at a young age go. There’s so many things and so many obstacles in life that people go through that that aren’t necessarily talked about. You know what I mean. I just really hope that everybody knows he was One of the down to earth human beings I’ve ever met, he helped me a lot with my football knowledge Ive put in bets that he’s placed before every time I seen him it whether it be out somewhere whether it be in sulfur springs whether it be wherever no matter what. He was always asking me where my football career was and how it was going and what was happening and he was one of the first people to actually text me when I got my first offer in high school and I’ll always have the utmost respect for him solely because of that because he didn’t have to do that no matter what I mean. I told him about my football career and my love for football when I was probably like 15. He was a year older than me if I’m not mistaken and no matter what. After that he always asked me about my football career was investing in it. His team was the Steelers. My team was the dolphins. We talked about football and sports betting life advice etc it’s just so sad what happened my condolences to his entire family once again.
