It is with deep sadness and loving hearts that we announce the passing of Elias Montijo, who was born on September 16, 1951, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, and passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026.

Elias was a devoted husband, loving father, and man of deep faith. His greatest joy in life was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Carmen Pantoja, and his two wonderful children, Elias Montijo and Merari Montijo, who were the center of his world and whom he loved with all his heart.

Elias was a man who cherished the simple blessings of life. He had a generous spirit, a kind heart, and a deep love for those around him. His faith was an important part of who he was, and he found great joy in serving and praising God.

Music was another special part of Elias’s life. He loved playing his guitar and singing in church, sharing his God-given gift with others. Through his music and his faith, he brought joy, comfort, and inspiration to many.

Elias will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his faith in God, his beautiful music, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those who knew him. Though he is no longer with us in person, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be deeply missed.
