My prayers are with my 1st cousin family. This is very hard for me we were so close growing up. We spent a lot of time together at our grandparents house eating listening to our grandmother teach us.
We worship together at the same Church Gospel Memorial COGIC sang in the choir together went on outing together with the church youth department.
I was so thankful that Connie came to Portland for many years wearing that big hat to support me in my Pastor’s Appreciation Service
Connie will truly be missed take your rest no more pain or suffering you fought a good fight. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal

DERRYL FISHER……..My Sencer condolences the family of this beautiful woman, I met Connie in 1977, I’ve known her family for years, but that was my first time ever meeting her, needless to say we bonded and became fast friends from that moment on, when I moved to Las Vegas I learned she was there also, after a long absence of seeing each other, we picked up as if time had never come between us,.. she was a beautiful human being who I’ll miss and love forever… rest in peace my beautiful friend 🙏❣️

Her memory will always be a blessing🌹. She holds a special place in my heart, and even after a long period of time when we connected later, we finished a few conversations that we had left unspoken . . . I mean over 40 years. I will miss talking and texting with her. I continue to pray for her family and will always do so. Gone too soon.🌹
