Bessie Lee Nelson, age 75 of Dothan Alabama,

passed away peacefully at her home on October 25,

2025. She was born on September 8, 1950, in

Dothan, Alabama, to the late Perry Walker and

Hilda Walker.

Bessie was a devoted mother to her two beloved sons,

Willie Nelson Jr. and Kirby Nelson. She leaves to

cherish her siblings Perry Walker Jr., Margaret

Gathers, and Daniel Walker Sr. She cherished

spending quality time with her loving family and

took great joy in being surrounded by her beautiful

grandchildren. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle

spirit touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Bessie will be deeply missed by her family and

friends, but her love and memories will live on

forever in their hearts.
