Julio C. Rios Santana, 66, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Born on March 18, 1960, in Río Grande, Puerto Rico, Julio was a hardworking man whose dedication, strength, and love for his family defined his life. He took great pride in his work, enjoyed going to the gym, and cherished every opportunity to spend time with those he loved most.
Julio was the proud father of three children: Katiria Rodriguez, Christopher Rios, and Bianca Rios. He was also a devoted grandfather to Jeremy, Emmanuel, Jeriany, Katalina, Chris Jr., and his youngest and closest grandchild, Yeilani, all of whom brought him immense joy and happiness.
One of the most meaningful chapters of Julio’s life began in 2023 and 2024, when he dedicated himself to strengthening his faith and becoming a child of God. His spiritual journey led him to be baptized on August 31, 2025, at Luz Del Mundo Church, where he faithfully became a member. His renewed faith transformed his life and gave him peace, purpose, and hope that he shared with those around him.
Julio will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his caring heart, his commitment to his family, and the faith that became the foundation of his life. His legacy of perseverance, love, and devotion will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in the memories they shared and in the faith that guided him during the final years of his life. May he rest in eternal peace in the presence of the Lord.
