Terry Cohen was born on March 14, 1950, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Mary and Henry Cohen. He was raised in Tampa and attended Middleton High School.
Terry spent his career as a truck driver, a profession he truly enjoyed. Throughout his years on the road, he took great pride in mentoring and training many new drivers, sharing his knowledge and skills until his retirement.
Outside of work, Terry loved traveling and cherished spending time with his family. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love, laughter, and happiness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Henry Cohen; brothers, brothers, Fillmore and Bryant Cohen; sisters, Eugline “Tina” Cohen-Hicks and Jeannetta Cohen; and one aunt, Theresa Barlow.
He leaves to cherish memories of him with his wife, Nurlene Cohen; Children, Julia, Sabrina, Taresha, Zedrick, Kim, Nikki, Terry Jr (Nikol), Marcus (Erica); Grandkids, Shanta, Nakita, Abraham, Zedrick Jr, Kendall, Makayla, Kaiden, Keyana, Porsha, Devon, Christopher, Zavin, Melissa, Kavario, Makiyah, Ricardo, Renardo, Qwanae, Zedriana, Mariah, Delvisha, Ta’hiry, Miracle, Deshaun, Markia, Kontanya, Myles, Terryelle, Larysheah and Joseph; Twenty- one great grandchildren; one sister, Brenda (Julio) Whitaker; one brother, Gil (Erika) Cohen; six sister-in-law, Earlene, Rosia, Edna, Arlene, Virginia and Martha; one brother-in-law, Izear Williams; nieces and nephews, Rechalle, Zerlina, Nicole, Reginald, Rashidah, Kisiah, Rese and Gillena; two aunts, Gertha and Lizzie; one god sister, Yvonne; two god children, Daniella and Shawn; a host of great nieces and nephews; close family and friends.

If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here.
Those words carry more meaning than I could ever put into a sentence, because your life made mine possible. Long before I ever took my first breath, you were building a legacy that would one day become me.
Thank you for the love you poured into our family, for the sacrifices you made, and for the strength you showed through every season of life. You may never have realized how deeply your presence shaped my heart, but it did.
