Woodrow Hankins passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. Known as Woody the funniest man in the room, Woodrow had a rare gift for making everyone laugh—no matter the circumstances. His humor brought comfort, connection, and light to all who knew him.
Woodrow deeply loved his family and took great pride in his work as a welder, cherishing not only the craft but also his welding work family. In his free time, he found joy in fishing and traveling, always eager for the next adventure and a good story to tell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Hankins; his children, Caitlin (Brandon) Mayo, Ethan Hankins, Michael Skinner, Matthew Brown, and Kayleigh Brown; and his cherished grandchildren, Brandy, Oaklynn, Tuesdaye, Oliver, Magnolia, Adelaide, with two more grandchildren expected this year.
He is also survived by his brother, John (Alicia) Hankins, and his mother, Diane Oswald. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hankins.
Woodrow will be remembered not only for his quick wit and infectious laughter, but for the love he gave so freely to his family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to cross his path. His spirit lives on in the stories, smiles, and laughter he leaves behind.
