n Loving Memory of Jamar Bond

July 8, 2008 – January 8, 2026

Jamar Bond was born on July 8, 2008, in Tampa, Florida, to Jewell McMillan and Jamar Bond Sr. He was educated in the Hillsborough County school system and attended Brandon High School.

Jamar was a loving and devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Anyone fortunate enough to have met him will forever remember his electrifying smile and vibrant personality. He had a natural gift for bringing joy to those around him and a heart full of love and loyalty. Jamar took great pride in being a protector to his mother and sisters, a role he embraced with honor and devotion.

One of Jamar’s greatest joys was spending time with his friends, whom he regarded not just as friends, but as brothers. Whether on the basketball court laughing, playing, and competing, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments meant everything to him. His spirit, kindness, and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

On January 8, 2026, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Jamar home. Though his life was brief, his impact was profound, and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jamar was preceded in death by his father, Jamar Bond Sr.; his paternal grandfather, Freddie Bond Jr.; his maternal grandparents, George Ponder and Helen P. McMillan; and his great-grandfather, Charles Canty.

Left to cherish his precious memory are his loving mother, Jewell McMillan; his beloved sisters, Jamelah and Jahmiah Bond; his paternal grandmother, Lenitha Canty; and his great-grandmother, Margaret Gilliam. He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, Angela Sherry and Chamecia Gonzalez; his uncles, John B. McMillan, Reggie McMillan, Tremaine Bond, Allen Sherry and Anthony Lubin; along with a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who mourn his loss, celebrate his life, and will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Jamar Bond will always be loved, deeply missed, and eternally cherished.

Letter of Condolence
2 Timothy 4:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
“Earth has no sorrow that heaven can’t heal”
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 5:8)
To the family of Jamar Bond I send my deepest sympathy in this difficult time. He was a devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, and but also a good friend to everyone. Jamar was a good person in his own special way, he share a lot of love to everyone he came in contact. He definitely, was a blessing to everyone always, which he was truly called a friend in deed. He was loved dearly by family, and friends. He was well known in the community. He attended Brandon High School, where he was loved by his classmates, and his teachers. He also enjoyed family time. Gone to soon… but not forgotten. He transition home to glory, where he received his wings, he definitely will be missed, to all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with, his mother, his siblings, uncles, aunts cousins, and the rest of his whole family, and friends. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (Psalm 30: 5) Rest in peace Jamar; you’re now resting in the arms of Jesus. May God bless, and keep this family in perfect peace.
Sincerely,

Brother Anthony Clark Jr.
