A homegoing celebration for Franklyn  Christophers  who passed away on July 8, 2025, will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron A. Cooper Mortuary: 5016 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, FL 33610. Internment will follow at Rest Heaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Franklyn Christophers was born and raised in the Dominican Republic to the late Frank Christophers and Bonifcia Nunez Franklin. He leaves behind his children: Franklyn Christopher  Jr, David Christophers, Moises Christophers, and Anna Christophers, along with many grandchildren. Franklyn spent most of his childhood in the Dominican Republic and moved to Florida in his adult years where he met his beautiful wife Olga Christophers. Franklyn worked as an auto mechanic for many years, and he owned his own auto mechanic shop in Tampa, FL. Franklyn was known to be a handyman and a true man of faith; he enjoyed working around the house and fixing things and devoted his life to Christ. The top of the roof was his favorite place to be; even as he got older his wife couldn’t keep him off the roof repairing things. Franklyn will truly be missed by his loving family and church members.
